Sydney Water turns down the water pressure Sydney Water reduces water pressure across parts of Sydney and the Illawarra
The proposed reduction of water pressure across parts of Sydney and the Illawarra has significant implications for property owner's and occupier's fire and other water pressure dependant systems. Sydney Water's operating licence requires it to provide at least 15 metres head at the connection to each property, however on average it presently provides 50 metres head and can provide up to 100 metres head. Such a reduction can have significant implications for the hydraulic operations of your building, and the Sydney Water process is tight should building services works and associated planning approvals be required.
